Congress President, Smt. Sonia Gandhi has expressed deep anguish over the havoc caused by a cyclonic storm in north eastern Bihar.

With reports of casualties and damages yet coming in, Smt. Gandhi expressed the hope that the extent of the same is limited.

She has asked the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee and the Frontal organisations of the AICC to take a thorough stock of the situation and do every thing possible for providing immediate relief and succor to the affected people.
